Forst off, let me say hey, this is my first post - glad to be here!





I am prepping my car on my own before paint, however I need to fix some dents in the hood. What order do I need to do the repairs/prep work in?

Do I do sand down to bare metal and then repair the dents with bondo,
then sand the entire car,
and then prime the entire car?

Im new to auto body work and was just curious the best way to go about fixing the dents and then prepping for paint. Thanks!

 

sand areas that you are gonna fill to bare metal. then feather edge the filler areas out, then spot prime areas or prime the entre car. Then sand entire car with 320.
