This all depends on market interest, so I need to do some informal surveys.

I may be getting access to mandrel bending equipment and would be VERY interested in producing 'pre-fab' intercooler kits.

I know how expensive some of the kits are and am hoping to be able to keep production costs down so I can beat the prices of the 'big boys'.

What I need to know is WHO NEEDS WHAT ? How many of you all want a good price on intercooler piping kits (no I/C)? Also, what size piping would you prefer (2.25 before I/C and 2.5 after) ? What material(s) Stainless steel, Galvanized Steel... etc... would you prefer ?

I should be able to produce piping all the way to the T/B without a problem, so let me know !

Also possible would be straight thru B pipes/ full exhausts and might be able to get that up to 3" diameters. (Think of the possibilities !).

I am particualarly interested in Hybrid turbo kits (turbo LS,GSR,LSVT,CRVT,CRVs) in civics.....expecially if you are local and I can measure your car for the piping.

Let me know please... I am very interested in getting this started/going and I know there are members on here that would benefit from it !

i'm going to need piping done for my Accord, and i fear what its going to take. it has been done before, i know because i own a honda, but just not sure what its going to take. perhaps if i mached something up, and sent you the demensions i think i need, will you be able to do it then?

 

Well, I am trying to get an estimate on #s. What is the demand. The cost will only go down with bigger demand. I am not looking to do one-off kits, but more like 5 or so per model car/year or application. Given the complexity of some custom work... I don't think it should be too hard to find the demand for a pre-fab version.

ahh i understand, my feeling is, there is not a big demand, if at all other then myself, for the piping i'll need. Perhaps if you build a kit for the 4th gen Accord, then i may be able to adapt it to my setup.

 

interested in a kit for a b18c ek civic. I basically would need a 2.25 piping for the intercooler...would prefer stainless.

there is a place down there in Miami that might help you. VRSexhaust. they do alot of that stuff. but i would be intersted in a turbo piping kit for an h22 in a accord.. let me know if you need pictures of the "normal" kit .. or whatever


most will want 3'' as far as exhaust id say 2.5-3 inch for IC piping is good

 

I am in need of 6th gen Accord piping.. maybe you should start a poll to gauge interest?

One of the first kits I may do would be the integra B18A/B/C1/C5 Kits as I have a teg, so it would be very easy to do the fitting and dyno testing.

 

I would be interested in a CAI intake application for a 93 EG hatch with a h22 prelude engine that goes through the air hole in the passenger side front area.

And maybe custom exhaust 2.5 to 3.0 piping as well for a h22/eg ..

 

Now THAT's a hybrid !

Gotta get a local with a similar swap to check the intricacies of the piping.

LS and B16 teg piping should be almost identical, so that should be no problem.
