Default valves

i asked this to the all motor crowd but thought i would get my fellow r owners opinons.
i need to rebuild my head and was wondering what a decent set of valves to use?
i want to use the flat face valves to get a bit more comp. ratio. in the chamber. and i'm
going to be using my toda b's.

so any thoughts or insite would be great. thanks.

I used Supertech nitride coated valves in my last build, and have also heard good reviews about Ferrea valves. Your not going to gain a lot of compression by using flat faced valves though.

Depending on the build specs, usually I would recommend sticking with OEM valves, and just upgrading the springs & retainers to match your cam choice.

We flow tested a few valves, and stock ITR intake valves were the best (stock sized).
And I second springs/retainers to match your cams.

i know for sure this time around i'm using toda dual valve spring for my spec b's. so stock size itr valves flow good on the intake side, what about exhaust side?. and would it be worth over sizing the valves? to get the extra flow.

thanks for the info guys.
