New Personal best..10.19@148.98
Went to Pinks @ woodburn oregon this weekend with the intention of being able to run on a good preped track... well the track sucked..it was better than they prep it for the import events but nothing special...my V8 buddys were complaining about traction issues in their RWD Tubbed out cars..Track temp was well over 95 deg considering it was 92+ outside all weekend!
Previous best was 10.36@142 with a best mph of 147..
Setup is:
Sleeved 81mm GSR
Eagle Rods
Mahle pistons
GSR head
ITR cams
Manley 1mm oversized valves
Crower valve springs/retainers
Homemade Ramhorn
T4/T67 turbo
ETS Intercooler (www.extremeturbosystems.com)
3in intercooler piping
Eldelbrock Im
1450cc injectors
Stock fuel rail/FPR
Q16 Fuel
GSR transmission
Tilton Twin disk
Quafe diff
DSS 3.9 axels

I think that if i can get the car on a better track it will go a bit faster...it was still spinning in 3rd and 4th...

I heard about this, that's awesome. How many psi and hp level?
It would be really cool to see you get into the 9's with such a basic yet effective setup.

i honestly think that when he gets the car on a track that will hold all the power in 3rd and 4th it will do it!...
On friday he had launching issues, we needed to raise the 2step but TJ wasent there with the laptop, so his best pass on friday was 11.08@140
...then on saturday we raised it 600rpm or so and first pass off the trailer 10.26@147, next pass was the 10.19@148.98...and it was HOT out there! damn...So i think on a cooler day and a better preped track it will dip into the 9's! mph and power are there it just needs to hook in every gear!

And as far as getting into PINKS, NOPE...they choose a "Slower" class... it was a 10.70-10.90.. We were the only Honda in the whole competition and there were only 5 "imports" total as they would call them..there were 4 talons that were all friends of ours..all part of our "Group" i guess you could say... 2 of the talons were chosen in that class but 1 messed up on the launch and the other "Went to fast" in the 2nd round...
