Good headers for my 4 cyl accord f23?
I want a good set if headers for my car but haven't been able to find ones that have the kind of performance improvement I want. Any ideas? I'm looking for a good hp gain since the f23 doesn't really have a lot to it

Expect a noticeable difference, but not a huge improvement in terms of HP. I am going to say that most guys out there that wanted to have a "brand" backing their header decided to go with DC sports, for those that cared for the price, went with a header off ebay.

That's what i was telling you, if you wanted the "brand", you'd go with DC... and if you want something BALLER, you'd go with greddy... now, if you just want a descent some' some'... that's fine, thing is... smaller brands do not carry the carb sticker.

Judging from your posts and what not, you honestly are not going to need anything more than a DC Sports or even DC Sport replica header.
You're not going to get any real gains from just a header on the F series. And if you have supporting mods to warrant a good header then you can spend money later on. I spent $30 on a DC Sport replica for my H22 swap and hadn't had a single issue with it.

I had an OBX stainless steel header on my car and it was the biggest POS. That thing warped on me within a year where the two pieces meet and kept blowing gaskets.
eBay headers are hit or miss.
Many seem to have no problem w/ Megan headers.
Also, be sure to wipe off any fingerprints before you start it the 1st time, otherwise they will be there forever.

random question without wanting to threadjack because I too am trying to buy some headers...
I can get a great deal on a used DC header (less than half new price).. its in mint condition apart from a 3" crack on the piece where the 2 and 3 cyl exhaust tubes are on the flange.. Its the stainless model, not ceramic.
Are these things easy to fix by welding or will it still affect performance post-weld..
I considered megan as well, but I prefer DC, even if I have to go used to afford it

It's a hard decision. I mean it would take only a few weeks to save up for dc headers but with what I could save with megans I could get an intake or sumthin else.......damn I suck at decision making
