Default will 1991 accord 2.2L swap into 2001 accord?

So i have a 2001 accord automatic 2.2L that blew the cam gear. i found a 2.2 liter motor out of a 1991 accord with no tranny for 200 bucks. i need to know if this motor will swap into the 01. also, will the tranny from the '01 2.2L bolt up to the '91 2.2L? also, will i need the ecu or wiring from the 91 to swap it into the 01? will the exhaust from the 01 bolt up? im not a honda guy and i need you guys help. any help is much appreciated.

Basically, you're using a OBD1 motor (older than 1996) with the brains of a obd2 car (made after 1996), you can get the job done, but you will need a jumper harness in order to run the new ecu. Every H and F series trannies are compatible with each other (except for F20c, of the s2000).
Let me just remind you that the F23 motor of the 2001 accord has more power and torque than the F22 of the 1991 accord, so... it would be a little slower.

The wiring of the 2001 accord is going to have some "extra" plugs that this 1991 motor won't have. It's the same as if you were doing an upgrade to another powerful motor made previous to 1996. In order to run it right, you will need a jumper harness, which is what is going to make the original wire harness inside the vehicle be able to connect to the OBD1 ecu.
My advice to you is, find a junkyard and buy a used f23 and save yourself from the hassle. About 2 years ago, my friend and i pulled a f22 engine from a junkyard and paid 90 bucks.
