Hey im looking to paint my wheels Volk mag blue or "winning blue" as its called in the Rays catalogue.. I've looked through a few paint chips to try and get a similar colour but with no luck as of yet. Does anyone know if there is a paintcode available for this? I highly doubt Rays will hand it out either..

 

lol its a long ****...but if you know some1 that has them or that color have them bring a wheel with you to a paint shop and they can analyis the color.

 

Yeah thats what my painter said but its going to be hard as hell to get hold of a wheel. Havent seen this colour on one single set of wheels in the whole country.

My painter has no clue what a hex code is. Would a professional powder coaters know what it is?

 

Hex code is for imaging software, which isn't the same digital format as paint codes. In short, no they won't know what to do with the hex code.

 

While that is true, if you have a color calibrated printer (trivial to do with most these days), you can print out the exact shade that the hex format represents, and take in the printed sheet for color comparison / matching.

 

Doesnt matter luckily I managed to get hold of a set of mag blue te37's so I can get a sample of the colour.
