I was given a Honda 1992 accord lx. It has a week spark at the coil and I got now spark at the spark plug wire, it has a new dist. coil looks original. Where do you suggest I start going. thanks ED

 

I would suggest that you get yourself a Helms manual for the 90-93 Accord. Then you will be able to troubleshoot the ignition system properly.

Starting at the coil would be my suggestion. With an Ohm meter check the resistance on the primary and secondary coil windings. Sorry I don't have a 90-93 helms manual to give you the step by step.

 

I just picked up the car 7-3-09 and will pu a manual Monday, and go from there thanks for the suggestion ed

 

Yeah I didn't mean to come off as a dick. Electrical trouble shooting and replacing those lower o-rings in the spark plug tube both require the use of a manual. Much easier than trying to sift through posts on here.
