Default ppg shopline primer.

I'm getting my ride ready for paint, and i'm using some shopline primer. Now my question is if my primer cures then my primer gets wet from the rain days later. Will it still be ok???

Because i know your suppose to shoot the base asap, but how long can u go before shooting the base?

Because it might take a lil while to get it in the booth for the paint.

Are you shooting sealer or high build? If you're shooting sealer, I usually cure it for 30-45 minutes then base. If you're shooting high build, you have as much time as you'd like. I usually wait 2-3 hours then wetsand, then base...

i've never had a problem cuz i was in the process of primering/curing/blocking/re-primering/re-curing/re-blocking... in efforts to get the car as straight as possible so there were no wavy reflections when i based it.... and my final stages of sanding were wetsanding... (which, duh! requires water)... which i dont think would've been much different from if it were to have been raining.... not to mention the car sat outside when condensation obviously built up throughout the night

eventually i sealed it and based it. and WAAAA LA!
