K20A EF Swap Questions..
Does anyone have any experience with K20 swaps into EFs? Whats has to be done and how much? All I heard that it is expensive lol
And I read an article in Hondatuningmagazine that it requires you to use a custom header and exhaust work. Is that true? Im not trying to question them but Im trying to see if theres away around them.

There is a good walkthrough on the k20 swap in the faq's but let me help you out a bit. Can a k20 swap be expensive? Yes, but if you can do the swap yourself it not really more expensive then any other swap. You need to cut and weld a new mount on the passenger side but that's not hard. You can also just buy a dc sport k swap header ($200-$300) and get a nice exhaust to go with it (you don't need any thing custom). Its really not as hard or expensive as people make it sound. Check out k20a.org there's LOTS of good info on there. Hope this helps man

Ok I worded that wrong. Yes a k20a is still expensive but the price on k's have come down. And nothing is cheaper then a D series. I know, I still rock mine :p. What I was trying to say is if your not paying a shop to do your swap then its really not as expensive as you think. Not much more expensive then a b18c or h22. Where streetworks when I need him :/, I'm sure he'll chime in on this.

Thanks Man. It helped. But the engine itself is alot more expensive. but everything else would prob cost the same plus some.
Ill def look into that dc sports K swap header

My current plans are sticking with getting a GSR for now but I tend to plan things alot alot before I do them. A K series swap is a swap I would like to do. U know what I mean? lol
