i put pro one in a head and it ate some lobs off the cam. what would cause the cam to get ****ed up?

did you degree them in and adjust the valve lash when you where done? did you tourque the cam caps down right? use assembly lube when installing them?

If your cam lobes got eaten away then there was obviously a lube problem. Either you didn't use assembly lube on it, you are not getting oil to your cylinder head, or your cam is too aggressive for those rocker arms (not likely).
