Default 2001 accord F23A4 will not rev

My accord had a problem with a random mis at 5000 rpm. i changed the plugs, wires and dis. cap. it still had the mis and i didn't get any codes. I ran seafoan into the intake and now the car will not drive. I can rev it to 3000 max in park. if i hit the gas the revs will die. my egr circ. is clean. when i removed the iacv i see that it is almost closed out of the car. my map is kpa 33 when i first start and goes over 100 at 2700 rpm.tps at idle is 9. i am thinking of changing the tps and iacv. i also adjusted the valves. i have 93000 miles. any one have any idea what i should check. it will rev to 4000 when cold in open loop. all 4 cyl have the same compression.

Thats weird You should pull the map sensor and then start the car. Kinda sounds fuel related. Maybe it's only getting so much fuel. Check your fuel pressure. You might need to change fuel filter. Faulty Ecu? Or main relay? Not that I think about it you are OBD2 any codes now? Unhook battery then rehook and restart car. I have heard of seafoams gone bad.

I tried it with the map sensor off and still plugged in. I also tried to block the egr by putting a gasket under it. Before I ran the seafoam into the tb, I only had a misfire and lack of power over 5000 rpm. Now i can't rev over 3000. I also can't drive the car now. I need to find a tps for a 2001. All the ones I see on ebay are for earlier years. With all of the trouble I am having, the ecu still has no codes unless I disconnect something.

I checked all the sensors and they all seem to be good. One thing that i did find is that all cyl.s are at 115 psi. It may be a bad gauge, it is over 35 yrs old.

I checked it. It is at the point that it will not run above idle. I rechecked the valves. Put the original plugs back in. I checked the timing belt to make sure it was in time with the cam. The fuel pressure in 46psi with hose on and 56 with hose off. All sensors check good and the scaner pick them all up. I didn't check for a clogged cat yet. The inside of the valve cover looks like a new engine. I do get noise from the cat. It may be the cover. Before I used the seafoam on the intake, the car only had a high rpm mis. Now it will die over 1500 rpm. the car has no power to drive it at any speed. I do see the front O2s go above 1v when it starts to die. The back one stays below .65v.

Found the problem. It was a clogged cat. It stared with a ign mis above 5000 rpm. After seafoam it would not run above idle. I removed the front o2 sensor and it would rev right up. Took the cat off and found the front honey comb broke up.

Glad everything is fixed. I would perform an oil change since you ran the seafoam. Just my 2 cents.
