Does anyone know if there is a difference between the 98-99, and 00-01 accord v6 alt. bracket. Mine snaped in half, and on honda's parts list the 98-99, are a different part numbers then the 00-01, and 25 bucks more. If anyone know's if I can or can't use the cheaper(00-01) bracket please help me out. I'm super broke. Thanks

 

Thats so funny that you posted this, because I have a 1998 Honda Accord 2dr V6 and my alternator bracket snapped right in half too. I went to get another one and realized that the replacement is still bad metal so I welded my own its been fine ever since but makes me wonder what else Honda went cheap on when they made my car. Oh sorry in answer to your question go down to HONDA dealer and the parts department computers have pictures of all the parts bring both part numbers and compare pictures, or parts if in stock.
