I have a CC stage 4 clutch and for this year I am not too worried about my clutch as I only have a built head with my turbo kit and shooting just for around 300 whp. Next year calls for a built and sleeved b18c1 gsr block and crank (I have the ys1 gs-r right now)

My goal is to make about 500 whp + on 112 or c16. Now my question is, how much TQ can a stage 4 handle?

OK, I stared at the ceiling for a second and I can't remember the stage 4 product specs off the top of my head. CC's website is useless - they're really the sort of company you call and speak to.

I spoke to Michelle (?) a while back about the stage 5. With the 2100lb plate it's rated to 500 whp and the 2400lb plate is something like 10% more. Kind of a wierd to rate clutches in horsepower, but I digress. I don't think your stage 4 is going to cut it.

I thought I read somewhere that it holds 250% over stock tq probably about 300tq is my guess.

 

Should be fine if I just did a pump gas (93 Octane) but guess I will have to change it to a stage 5 next year. Thanks guys!
