Default B20 EF Front end conversion questions???

What's good guys,

About to throw my B20 Vtec into my 91 EF. I am going to buy a US SiR Carbon Fiber hood from VIS. Any brought one before? I believe they specify US SiR because it will fit on a stock USDM crx. This way you can get the clearence of a SiR hood without doing a full JDM front end conversion. ANY IDEAS?

I understand what you are asking. Yeah that would work, but you don't need to do a JDM conversion to put a B series in our cars. I have a 91 civic hatch and I didn't have to change my hood or bang the hood up or anything. I think if you use hasport mounts there should be no issues.

No, it's not a ZC HOOD. Im running a b20 vtec. Using hasport mounts. They have a alternator relocation kit but I don't want to use it. Search eBay for SiR carbon fiber hoods & you will see that US SiR hood.

I know a B16 or B18 would fit. I'm pretty sure it's the height of the B20 block that causes the clearance issue.

The valve cover will rub slightly on the right side just before the area that covers the cam gears...simply trim the webbing on the hood and you will be ok. save the cash and buy something that will help the motor make more powwa!

A B18 uses the same block as a B20.

By b series I meant B20 lol. A b20 should fit in no problem with hasport mounts.
