bar swap complication

Default bar swap complication

i have a 98 hatch and i have a 98 spec gsr but was produced in 97 is it still possible for me to bar my motor swap still?

it really depends on the referee guy. just tell him it came from 98. good luck. and depends where you get it bar'd at too some referee dont like honda. he knew my b18c was from a 94 i had no idea how he knew.

I dont think there would be any problem, because technically, your 98 hatch could have possibly been produced in 97 too, pending on when the original owner bought it off of the dealer lot.

But yeah, like already said above, just tell them it came out of a 98 and you should be good to go.

date stamp on the head! the law is same year or current, but it never hurts to call and ask the referee.

you should'nt have any issue with it i have a 96 year stamp on gsr head in a 97ek4 certified by the state of califonia VERY NICE!! goodluck! ps: keep me posted any help let me know im in sf valley not to far from you.

yeah when go you to the ref to bar the car he will let you know if any other repairs will need to be done also dont forget to have all evap system,factory catallatic converter obd2,carb#s on header,cold air intake and put new spark plugs.
