Default Removing Hubcaps

I have a 2002 Civic coupe ex and want to remove the stock hubcaps because everyone else is doing it. Can I just pull them off, or do I need to unscrew the wheels?

On a side note what looks better to you guys- hub caps, or no hub caps?

you'll need to jack your car up, remove your lugs from the wheel and pull off the cap. you don't have to pull the wheel OFF the car though.

I like caps on personally

That's funny because at one point I wanted to get a pair of flat black Rota Slipstreams in 16x7 for my car... but not sure if I want to spend that kind of money.

If anything, by removing the hubcaps, this will give me an idea of how black rims will actually look on my car before ploping down the cash for rims.

Btw does anyone know if the rota rims I mentioned earlier in this post will be lighter than my 15" stealing that came with my car?

I know, right? I live in socal also and it seems like EVERYBODY is taking off their hubcaps... and to be honest I dont blame them. Hubcaps look kind of cheap to me, sort of like "fake" rims and also a bitch to clean.

hubcaps > steelies all day every day, unless they are ghey gangster hubcaps.

My wife's 96 Corolla had Benz-wannabe hubcaps for the longest time before we were married. Finally I pulled them off and threw them in the trash. But the car looked ugly as hell with flat black steel wheels. I would have liked stock Corolla hubcaps (best looking for the car IMHO) but couldn't find any. Finally I just got a set from AutoZone that look sort of like the stock ones. Looks 100x better now.
