I need to know what anyone thinks about CTR pistons? The brand is pct good brand or what?I'm running stock rods will it hold for reasonable street/track car every day driver? i got b18c5 head .05 over sized valves really mild port job BC stage 3 cam shafts good head or needs more work? should i run stock head gasket or thicker? how high will my compression be i really dont want alot or hp but reasonable for every day driving track use? and will it hold if i spray nitrous? any help would be great?

I'd would rather use some ITR or PR3 pistons for that build. You're only running BC3 cams, which don't require a High CR that the CTR pistons would yield. Play on the link below to see what CR you'll have with the different types of of pistons. And no the PCT pistons are not the manufacturere of CTR pistons, they are the style or model number for the CTR pistons. For example, P73 pistons are ITR pistons, P72 are GSR pistons, hence PCT are CTR pistons.
Look here for the compression calculator.

Way to think ahead and plan your build before you start buying parts....Now you want to know how to band-aid them all together so it'll work....sad.

If you want to know about PCT pistons, try doing a search on here or Google them.

Why did you even bother asking for piston advice if you were gonna buy the CTR pistons anyways. Now you're planning on buying a .060" thick headgasket without even knowing what your CR will be. Why not just buy pistons with a lower dome so you don't have to spend the extra cash on a custom head gasket everytime you need to replace the head gasket.

Yes they will, but how did you figure your compression? Calculating it can be very inaccurate if you don't have all the proper variables known (Piston to deck height, combustion chamber volume, etc...). Not to mention you have oversized valves. Are they flat top? Or do they have the same dimple that stock Honda valves do?

it shouldnt matter cuz my valves are oversized but they still have the dimples in them

Quoted for the fail
You really have no clue as to what you are doing, so I suggest you stay off the juice until you do get some more understanding, that is unless you got deep pockets to buy a new motor.

This thread is a great example of what we have all been ranting about. Pull your head out of your ***. You're asking for help in a forum, people are trying to give it to you, but you're rejecting it because it's not what you want to hear.
