what do you guys think of the dizzy jumper for obd0
i just found out if i change my setup from obd0 to obd1 one of the things i can avoid doing is the dizzy swap. i can keep my obd0 dizzy and get a jumper harness that allows me to keep the dizzy.
what i have been told so far is if i wanted to do a obd1 conversion, i would need to change the obd0 to an obd1 and get a new obd1 dizzy from the new civic such as a civic 92 dx because im a sohc, and buy a jumper for the difference.
is there a jumper that does the conversion with out the need of changing out the dizzy?
is it better or worst if it is out there?

For a OBD1 conversion you HAVE to get a OBD1 Distributor. The jumper is just so you can plug and play your old engine harness with the New style distributor harness without having to change your wires around on your engine harness.
then my next question is, i have the obd1 dizzy.
its from the 92 dx. did i get the right one?
why, well when i pluged everything up it doesnt seem to work right. it looks like the dizzy is cocked off somehow. i cant turn the dizzy far enough to get rid of the retarding of the setting.

yes i bought the rywire complete conversion wire harness, not just the ecu but also the o2 sensor harness and the dizzy harness.
they plug right up but the dizzy seems like its cocked over at a 2 o'clock position.

what head are you running? can you post up pix? if you're trying to run a z6 or a y8 head on your block that dizzy isnt really going to work, w/o doing some jenky stuff because the bolt lobes are different. are you putting the dizzy in in the right way? if you look at the cam the keyways are actually cut to one side so you can only properly fit the dizzy in one way...
