repainting rims, clearing out curb rash?
so im about to repaint my rims, but the owners before me apparently cant drive. so anyone know a easy way to get in bewtween the tire and rim to clear off the curb rash?
You take the wheels to a tire place and get them dismounted for like $5 a wheel... Then you have all the room you want... And thats the only way to do it anyway IMO.
Hmm.. well if you want your rims done right your going to have to remove the tire haha. Or else just keep rockin' that curb rash. What I got is a tire remover from harbor freight. Good investment that can be used over and over agian. Just have to pay to get the tires balanced again. Here's the link... http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=34542
Also how do you plan on removing the curb rash if you do get in between the tire and rim??

Letting all the air out of your tires may give you a little room. Still don't know if it's enough but it's free so I say it's worth a shot.
find a friend that works somewhere that can do tires, i have saved a lot just bringing my wheels to a friend to get mounted/dismounted, etc...
