Well i did have a sale pending with another member but he hasnt replied to me since he first pm'd me on Thursday. I'm not able to take pics, but it was built by Earl Laskey of Laskey racing, his username on here is 'earl'. It's a fresh rebuild with zero miles, i dont have the original miles but it's a 95 JDM GSR. If you want more information on the internals i can get it but the basic stuff is in my original post. All the external components are detached and sitting in boxes and i'll include that.

 

well i have a few more ?'s..but if you wanna sell that motor im interested, i dont live far from you so text me asap for further questions. how long ago was the block built because earl died back in march of 06...just wondering maybe mike built it?

 

Ohh i didnt know that, but it was before 06 that it was built. The block has been in storage for a little over 3 years wrapped in plastic and kept at room temperature.

I still have the sale pending but I'll let you know for sure on Saturday, or it may even be some time tomorrow.

 

 

Even though the sale is still pending the price on the block is down to $1100. The internals have ~3k miles on them from a breaking in period. However the motor was removed from the car, disassembled and shipped off to Laskey Racing for cleaning and the rebuild. During the rebuild all parts were checked to make sure they were still within manufacturers specs.

No, the 3k miles on the internals were from a breaking in period and to make sure the new motor was running fine. The motor was taken out and sent off to Laskey Racing and all wear parts were replaced and the internals were cleaned, checked to make sure they were still within spec and reassembled. Since then the block has not been run.
