Default Y21 noob install questions...

I have a Hydraulic Y21 w/ LSD. For the past 3 or 4 days I have been trying to get it lined up w/ the engine. Well, today I finally got the tranny to the point to where it went on to the dowel pins 1/2 way. The only problem and concern I have is if the splines are lined up correctly. I tried to push the tranny further in to close it up but it only went to about where a 1/4 of an inch was left to go. The only way I could get it to close was to tighten up the bolts. Not sure if it should just slide closed. AFTER doing this I read the some advice about NOT drawing the tranny closed by tightening the bolts. These are my questions...

1) how do you know if the splines are lined up correctly and how do u get them to?

2) will a D or B series speed sensor will work on this tranny (who has one for sale?)?

3) and where can I get new axles?

Sorry for all the questions. I'm just at my wit's end trying to get this all figured out and it's a lot to take on for a noob like myself. PLEASE HELP!

oh yeah, BTW... I'm not sure why kind of axles I need either for my swap and chassis set up. It is a B16a3 in a 95 Civic EX coupe. I have heard 94+ integra axles will work. Is this true?
