Default 98 ext cab silverado 8500 obo. or TRADES

TRUCK HAS A LEAKING INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET THAT CAN BE FIXED FOR AROUND 4 TO 500$. OPEN ALL TRADE OFFERS, LOOKING FOR AN EG HATCH MAINLY. BUT ACCEPTING ALL OFFERS. TRADES PLUS CASH ALSO. WILL TAKE 8K CASH FIRM DO TO NEED OF MONEY. MY HATCH WAS RECENTLY STOLEN, SO NEED CASH OR CAR. THANKS.

98 extra cab chevy 1500 forrest green (all fenders pro. painted to match) with a 5.7 liter vortec, k&n filter, everything else is stock has about 150,000k on it but runs great, A/C, heater, CD, stock interior all in good shape and nothing rattles when driving. [daily driven] the front suspension is custom built by the original owner at his old shop. It cosists of dana 40 hubs and snouts bolted on with an 8 bolt pattern on the spindle . everything is .125 chromoly plate and is TIG welded, He was a certified for 6g chromoly. both the uniballs are vertical in the spindle and the steering is all 7/8 heims with 1 1/2 tubing for tie rods. the truck as very little bumps steering and cycles 19.5 inches of useable travel. I have jumped it and been to the desert twice and have not bottom it out yet, but it is not a stiff ride at all. it has fox 16" coilovers on the front and has room for a bypass. The rears has a 3/4 ton rearend on it with an auburn limitslip 4.56 gears and 2" wheel spacers. the rearend is fully trussed and has not givin me one thing to complain about, it hooks very wells and makes drifting very easy just throttle and go. The rear also has custom made leaf springs from North County springs and custom made shackles with 16" race runners, cycles 17" of travel. Has stock fuel tank and stock catts for smog reasons. also has a rack on top of the bedcage that is on pins so you can remove it easily which has a shovel and the jack handle mounted on it for quick remove. The bedcage sets the two spares vertical in the back with just enough room for the aluminum jack. The truck was used so it could be driven to any off road spot in comfort and drive into remote locations on the track and still carry 5 people, supplies, and be in ac at the same time..

i dont have any videos of this truck in action but i have 1 pic of it hitting a jump in glamis. you can check out the other thread i posted on here to see how many people know this truck and are willing to vouch for it. i had it origonaly up for 14k obo and i got plenty of offers. but this economy is ****. im just looking to get out of the off road scene since i rarely ever get to go out anymore.

how does it not sit right? oh yeah and the fenders arent just for "looks" hahaha it has alot of "up travel" so the tires dont hit the fenders after you land, or as your going threw a whoop section cruising at 50mph + =]

ok for 1 i've built, seen, and know a lot more people with real trucks, that pull more travel than you with 4 or 2 wheel drive trucks. plus they are real trucks not just a wanna be prerunner with no cage at all which if you jumped it or hit a whoop it would bend.

#2 i was not posting to make you mad but just stating something.
for the way it sits, i dont like the rear fenders, the front is to wide, should have just made it center point arms with a j-arm. it's way to wide compared to the rear, doesnt look well or wouldnt handle well, and not caged, just a shock hoop in the rear, not linked in the rear (which isnt bad) deaver leaf pull a lot of travel and handle pretty good.
but it would not handle being jumped atleast not without bending the frame.
make the rear wider or something doesnt look right and it seems like you would have a lot of steering/handling issues with that wide front end

haha and your second to last post on dezertrangers.com i was gunna tell those exact words to you

i can go on forever, point is dont call me out.
i am a fabricator/auto technician dont tell me all i know is honda's HAHAHAHAHa
i was gunna offer you a trade too because i can use this as a beater while i build my truck but i dont know now.

you know what i'm not here to bag on you so if you
delete what you said i will too

haha ok you little dude bro like what trucks?? huh?? if they are good i will either know them or have heard of them been in the offroad seen for many years.
i'm not guna bring anyone into this ao i am not guna mention what i've driven or who i know.
and that retarded little bedcage is only good for mounting shocks, no full cage from front to back where it bends easiest! oh and lets see what kinda bolt on cage you got under the hood.
oh and your c-notch, where you dumped at one point in time or just ghetto??

like i said my truck is under the works not some stupid bars welded to the frame anywhere you thought would work, it is a full tube frame had all the geometry laid out before hand.
a lot more that your little bro built wannabe prerunner...

oh this one is your truck wow you want a cookie??

so if you want i can take my golfcart out there and smoke you in that if you really
want...

this is funny i dont even have to do anything, your just making yourself look stupid.
