Icon2 98 auto accord shifting problem

sorry to repost but i got some more info
like the title says can't shift out of park
don't drive it like a manual, had a friend who
did that, knows what happen
doesn't need transmission fluid replace
brakes work fine but the brake lights don't come on
when i step on the brakes.
but i found that i can use the shift release to
shift into Neutral then start the car and then
shift into drive or reverse. ANyone know what
the problem is and how to fix it?

It possibly could have something to do with the TCU. I know when I took out the tcu from my 94 it didn't want to shift out of park
