I don't know if its been posted but it looks as if the FAA has reversed or loosened the ruling preventing auto events held on air strips.

I just got word via another scca member and checked my local schedule and found an updated schedule that included 5 new events at our normal airfield location.

Maybe they found a way that is a feasible work around for my location.

I have been looking for official word and found nothing other than the updated schedule.

 

That would be a great thing, especially with the recent loss of so many sites.

 

Would be nice to know more info. The Inyokern, CA saturday drags at the Inyokern airport were shut down years ago...and it was the oldest continually run drag strip in the country.
