Saving this EF Sedan
Alright, so I figure I've lurked the threads enough to finally get under way. This is the first EF Civic that I ever purchased, and I'm going to save it. It was starting to look like a little 2Fast 2Furious wannabe when I bought it, and when I get home in a month or so that's going to change.
When I bought it it had some atrocious things done to it, like those LED window washers, glowing speakers, etc. Not to mention that lots of things needed to be redone or removed. The wiring looked like a 3 year old did it, and half of the wires were the same color. It had a poorly done d16 mini-me thrown in it that has its share of problems. It has stock exhaust....all the way back to the muffeler which has dual 3 inch pipes coming out of it. I couldn't help but laugh, and this has already fallen off. I had torn apart the front end at one point, and found that a lot of the screw holes were redrilled in different spots, like the ones for holding the bumper in place. Low speed front end collision? Also, the radiator fan didn't work, it had a varying idle when it got warmed up, and it will kill itself unless you drive it for about 5 minutes (no, warming it up doesn't work, it actually has to be driven, I've tried). I'll post some pics here when I can, and keep updating after I get home. Any suggestions are welcome, but I'm going to have to drive about 100 miles to find a junkyard with anything close to it, it seems. I've only found one junkyard locally(ish) that has a 91 Sedan which I can scrounge parts from.

although it makes me sad to see people that do these sorts of things to civic/tegs/etc, i feel like i would be upset in a way if i coudln't laugh anymore at the individuals that actually drive cars riced out like this and think they look good lol. you certainly have some work ahead of you sir. gl

hah... no bs I don't think of autozone being a cheap place anymore, they actually are helpful (most of the time) compared to Pep Boys... I tried getting EBC brake pads at Pep Boys because the USED to carry them, and the guy told me sorry we don't carry them anymore and can't order them, try (insert family owned auto parts store name here) because we are more of an accessories store, you know to make your car look fast and sound cool... NO BS, that is what this guy told me.... HAHAHAHA!

Yeah, it's in pretty bad shape. It does have decent Honda rims on it, though. I was surprised they didn't get changed. The exterior will look relatively decent once I take some of the crap off. I'm just happy I won't have to take a body kit off or anything, then go and find OEM to replace them.
