What RMP holds the maximun hp? When racing, what RPM do you shift at and at what RPM do you start to lose power. I have the basic I/H/E setup. Thanks!

no no, 12k is only used when you need to get the maximum downforce from your aluminum APC double decker wing. otherwise, 11k should be fine for your application.

when the engine sounds like it needs to be shifted, or you hit the limiter.

 

rev limiter dont mean shift....shift just before the rev limiter

this is why its okay to shift after the redline but just before fuel cutoff.

More than i should.. i've bounced off the rev limiter more than i would like.

 

 

9800~9900RPM when racing....

8500~8800 Agressive street driving....

And 3500~4000 when the wife is with me

 

I shift at 8400 when not racing and about 8700 when racing at the track.

Well, when *racing* I use reverse so the car is RWD, so I can't really shift since there's only one reverse gear.

 

Which is 99.99RPM over the factory fuel cutoff! nice!

 

Factory fuel cut is 8600.

Shift at redline for drag racing. For autoxing I shift to 2nd as soon as I can, usually right about 6 grand.
