I also have a stock Accord 2.2 VTEC.. I have 2 questions about the aem v2 intake..
1) why this particular intake other manufacturers? Are they really THAT much beter than an Evil Bay cheapy?
2) why is this one so expensive? I've looked online and the cheapest I found it was $300!

you want the best you are going to have to pay for it... I considered the v2 but then decided to go with a AEM short ram intake system instead...
cost me $100 and im sure it gives more than 33% the power of the v2...

If I'm reading the second half of your post correctly it appears you are saying that your $100 intake is giving you a 33% gain OVER the v2?? That doesn't sound right.. Is that what you are saying or did I misintepret your post?

sorry I did not articulate myself....
I mean, my intake cost 1/3 the cost of a v2, but I am sure that it gives more than 1/3 the power of a v2...
ie. it is more cost effective... obviously not better overall

I have a question, realistically, how much power can be gained from a DC 4-2-1 header and a new exhaust...
Already have the intake on, just wondering about the next two logical upgrades....
Also, would there be any fitment issues with the DC considering its designed to be connected to a cat converter, and my car never came with one...
