i have a 89 crx dx and i put a B16 obd0 motor in it. my ? is i got a 90 crx si wiring harness from under the dash will in plug right in or will i have to chang something

 

the dash harness will plug directly to the b16 motor harness(if i t came with it) because they're 4 pnt injectors...last week i had to change my stock dx dash harness to a crx si and i conected it to the ls motor harness...it was a pain cuz i had to change all the wiring

 

wow thats way more work than dpfi to mpfi swap

 

lol..yeah it is but i didnt know how to multi point and i had the harnesses lying around..

 

yeah me to i have the harness but when i was pluging it all in under the dash there are 2 plugs that will not plug to anything under driver side dash did this happen to you to

 

do u have the full dash harness? it comes with all the wires to the headlights,conrers,,etc,and also i changed it cuz i put an si dash board and cluster and the dx dash harness doesnt come with the cable to the rpm...well at least i dont know how to wire it personally...

 

oh damn i dont have the hole dash wiring then i just have the stuff that plugs in under the dash not the stuff that gose all in it

 

You need ALL the wiring, not just one section...

 

Why bother with all the headaches? Just use your existing wiring harness and add the necessary wires for MPFI and VTEC. Ripping apart your interior just to use another harness is not worth IMO.

 

not really it not i think im going to put the stock part back on and just add the wires for mpfi and all that
