Default Keep blowing the alternator solenoid valve fuse??

Does any one know what this 10 amp fuse is for?? Its for the alternator solenoid valve?? It keeps blowing when I attempt to start that car. Would that keep my car from running? I have a 1990 civic dx hatch with OBD1 Ls swap. It was running fine and I was driving to work cruising at 55 mph and all of a sudden without a warning my car shuts off and I coasted down to a stop. It cranks but doesnt run. The fuel pump isnt working and I dont have spark. I thought it was the Main Relay and I replaced it but didnt fix anything. Anyone knows wat it is?

Fuse # 14 controls the following:
Voltage Regulator (IG)
Emission control solenoid valves
PGFI main relay
PGFI-FI ECU (IG1)
Fuel Pump
ELD unit
EACV

Is your fuel pump stock or aftermarket?
{Aftermarket have been known to blow the fuse}

You might have the alternator tested..
If it is overcharging,it will pop the fuse..
Also:Make sure all electrical connections are tight..

Something might be shorting out, when I swapped my D16A6 into my Civic it kept blowing that fuse because of the purge solenoid wiring. That might have also been the reason my ECU went all screwy too

Wow really? Thanks for the info 99DXCRX! I dont know what fuel pump I have but I know its the same one since I bought the civic with the single cam zc. I have had the swap done last year fall. I drove it a couple of months and it sat from January of this year to about last week. So its been a while. The only thing I did was switch from a hydro gsr trans to a b16 cable trans. and then 131 miles after doing that my car shuts off.
