My name is George, I am a long time luker on this board (as you can tell by my post count).

It will be my first time at Lowes. I'm hoping to get someone to ride with me the first session. Do you guys think that will be possible?

My car is not fixed yet as I am still waiting on parts. Luckily I have everything I need here on my street car if the parts dont arrive in time.

In addition to me there are also a couple H4 cars running, both the crx of Michael Keena-Levin, and the civic of Michael Stoiber. Overall turnout seems low for this one, definitely not a full house.

Not going to make it to Loews. Just got a new job and no vacation saved up yet.
I might be 'sick' for Friday for VIR.
Still waiting to hear back from NASA on whether or not they'll give me a check ride so I can run in the Grassroots UTCC.

Small turnout but the accord and I had a great battle for overall with six hayabusa powered thunder roadsters, and when the dust settled the Honda had the lead and two wins.

Seriously? There should be a number of NASA-MA regulars that can attest to your driving ability (myself included). If you need a recommendation or anything, just put the word out.

I've been in contact with Greg Greenbaum and Jon Felton. Jon said my track experience is not an issue. It is just a matter of getting me a check ride before the event. I'm not even signed up for the event yet because I've been waiting to hear back from him on whether they can check ride me the day of the event.

I think it may have something to do with an incident a few years too. I signed up for a NASA weekend in the Advance group and requested an instructor. Some NASA official told me that advance students shouldn't need an instructor and that maybe I shouldn't be in that group. I think I said something along the lines that Michael f'ing Schumacher even has f'ing instructors. I've basically boycotted NASA events since then and it is obviously now biting me back.

i was racing in race 2 but got punted into the guardrail in turn four someone used me as a brake.

That was a great race, watched it from my corner station on turn 6. And by corner station I mean 2 concrete barriers that were falling apart.

I dont know, my speedo only reads 130mph. I would guess top speed of 145 with about 140 through the banking.
