Well you are correct. There are no true LHD NSXR's. The closest America ever had was the Type-S which is a joke compared to the R.

come on guys this is no rice car, not all completly my taste but a lot of things are freaking awesome, like interior, center console, and roof scoop etc...

A its a sorcery wide body kit

B the hood is fully functional with the under hood scoop to evacuate the rad exhaust

C he built and designed the rest of the body work himself. the rear bumper, under hood scoop, roof scoop, tail light modding, etc...

D the nav and controls are out of a mdx and he did a great job on making it look factory and updating the look of the car

again i dont know him, the car in some areas are not my cup of tea, but overall this car is pretty freaking awesome for the skills he has and can you do half the fab work that he did?

this cars build is on nsxprime.com and he never tried to replicate a F car but build a car that he likes from everything. mainly a nsx, little of a lotus exige, little of farrari, little of everything

The craftsmanship in that car is obvious and though it may not meet with most's aesthetic sensibility, the car is very well done. Very well done.

Loving the interior.

if im not mistaken, he designed himself all the other things on that, minus the actual sorcery body kit.

I find the NSX to be exotic enough, no need to make it look like anything else, it's already unique as it is.
I can't believe he did that tail light conversion....tsc tsc... everything else looks top notch!

yes it does. But for the money i would always build a car than to buy it. Yea you can buy your nsx all built up but to build it yourself into something only you will appreciate forever is better than a ferrari in my opinion. He spent BIG money turning that car into what it is and the exhaust in the middle is just too sexy not to drool over...yea the tail lights couldve been done better but hey he cant hit all the points at once...

correct. but the U.S. did get the Zanardi edition(51units) which was the U.S. version of the Type-S. and yes you are right it was no joke. roughly 150pounds lighter the regular model, stiffer suspension and a few minor tweaks.

and the spoon gt replica is supposed to be around 125k

I know the owner as I helped with some of the technical info on the Nav retrofit and sold him some of the parts. It's an RDX Nav system BTW and definitely not a type R. Not sure who would have claimed this to be a type R or if it was just a couple of friends arguing.

Some of the Japanese owners do make some mods to their Type Rs but if someone in North America were to do that... it would be a blasphemy esp if it was a 2002+ Type R which none exist in NA.
