Im not that new to the site but this will be my first build thread so bare with me.i will keep it updated as much as i can..long story short I'm only 18 so any tips and advice are welcomed, i know negative comments will be in here but EY,who cares..

 

I bought the car for $800..it was an automatic with this! nooo..

 

it was blue when i bought it i didnt take pictures of it when i got it..its an 88dx.. the first thing i did to it was paint it flat black and slapped on some no-name coilovers..the interior was in an o.k condition, i roccked the torn seats for a while and then went to the junkyard and picked up some DA seats
after i put the seats on i decided to paint it pepsi white and painted it in my back yard

 

i decide to get rid of the stock steering wheel because it was really beat up so i bought a GTgrant from autozone for $20

so here comes the fun part! i got tired of having an automatic so i decide to swap it!
it wasnt easy because i had to go to the junkyard like 5-6 times a day to get all these little parts i needed..I bought a d16z6 for $200 from this tow truck driver, and he took the tranny apart for me and delivered it to me(it was an auto tranny, i didnt want it). My friend said his other friend from San Diego had an extra tranny laying around for $100..So i told him its SOLD! so he brought it from San Diego

 

lol... i dont really know, im just building it as i go, im not sure what i want..those projectors were only temporary because the stock one's were broken.

 

well my friend helped me with the build..We did an obd1 conversion along with dropping in the swap..bought a bone stock p28, obd1 dizzy, and NRG cables for $100. Here's how it looked after the swap:

lol..i forgot to mention i bought ebay headers and put them on..

 

Decided to paint all my moldings black to make it look descent also traded those projectors for these rims also painted my roof black to give it a better look..

 

got rid of the rear drums and picked up the rear disk setup from my friends gs-r shell, traded him for my old LS front bumper my brother and i did my rear disk conversion


I went ahead and picked up some ebay corners for now (lol) and went to Jdmcarboy and picked up some side markers and strut/rear lower bar..

 

my friend let me have his Megan racing harness so i put it on, along with a skunk2 shift ****..

 

I bought this for $400..a DOHC zc because i had the intentions of swapping it in but i sold it for $600 intead lol.

 

i was looking at my car and i realized how ugly it looks with all those wires everywhere..so i decided to wire tuck it.

 

I decided to knock out 2 things at once so since i took the dash out i decided to get rid of the A/C-heater system and do the wire tuck.

yeah i ran all cables through the center opening on the firewall where most of the harness comes through so they wont be that noticeable..
