i just got word that MUGEN is comin out with a new motor by next month. The B25, the motor is only suppose to be 2000$'s and come with the motor, ecu, wiring harness, transmission, and motor mounts. dont no the specs yet but wen i do i will update and let evryone kno

There's no way Mugen is going to sell a $2000 engine when they're charging $200 for a shift ****.

well think of it this way you cant buy a new gsr motor or even a new b16 for that really.

 

Mugen is? but there not really known for engine performance. and $2000 is way too cheap.. If anything i think spoon would bring there motors back...

lol......you saying something about spoon engines made me laugh cause this kid i met who drives a VW GTI told me to get a spoon engine for my EK. i told him i didnt have that kinda money and he said i could find one on ebay for $1K with less than 10K miles. I laughed in his face. He also told me to put a 2jz engine from a supra in my car. but yeah $2000 for a mugen engine seems super cheap for them when everything they sell is crazy expensive.

 

just like everyone else said, I dont buy it at that price. Mugen stuff is so expensive a$100 a shift ****, 1000+ for a new mugen seat. impossible that they would sell all that for 2k. If it did come out Ill go ahead and guess atleast a 5k or 6k tag with the engine trans and ecu. no less

do you have relatives in japan lol? As mentioned, thats not happening for 2k. The stroker kit to make a b25 alone would be more than that not counting labor to machine it in. It seems to me though that someone on here before posted something similar except it may have been a b20 vtec that someone (maybe spoon) produced. They even had a link to a page that seemed kinda convincing but it was all jap and you couldnt tell really. But its hard to believe they would make a motor like to sell regularly

I dunno wtf ur talkin about. Mugen doesn't even really do engine's. They do showy parts. They have headers shift ***** lips hoods, etc. And all their **** is so expensive. They aren't making some new B series motor for $2000 or even $3000. Besides u wouldh ave to do some crazy stroking and boring to get to 2.5L even from a B20. And a setup to do that would cost over 2k.
Either provide proof of this or GTFO. Posting this because ur friend told u that is what is gonna happen. srsly...

wtf ru talking about. They are not known for their B series now. What makes you think they will always be known for the B series? Get facts stop spewing. They are known for making cheap reliable decently performing cars. With very efficient engines. Just because they were the first one to do 100HP/L doesn't mean that is what they are known for. And even people who know about the 100HP/L thing don't relate Honda to B series.

u know someone actually did that with an evo motor you know...4 turbos 1 per exhaust port...didnt look right...idk if it was a joke or what but i really didnt look photochopped at all

 

Watch out here comes honda fan boy. For what you spend on a k swap I can have a b series force induction. The reason I say that hondas are known for the b series is because look at the percentage of people that have a B series a prefer a B series over a k. Keep rocking your poor man D douche.

It all depends on the HP your trying to make. If ur shooting for 400 or less than D is the way to go. If you are looking for 400-5XX then B. More than 600 then K. H fits in there somewhere but those FRM cylinders kinda **** it up. Although any of these motors can go up more than I listed here it really depends on your setup and how easy it is to make power. As people have put out 700HP on a D series it is very hard to do...
