Try adjusting the spring on the Hood. It is a flat head adjust it outwards and that might help. Dont go too far out or it will not shut just keep adjusting it and eventually it will work. But I dont understand why it is not closing corectly. Is the hood latch cable messed up or twisted anywhere? Try adjusting the 4 bolts that hold on the crossmember with the latch on it. Hopefully this will help!

dude look to see what its hitting, if it isnt closing its because its hitting something. diagnose it, there is no way anyone could figure out why your hoods not closing being as vague as you are. Is it hitting anything? is it latching? does it line up? any lines in the way?
it lines uup and is not hitting anything!
it only latches to the point where u just lift up the lever and can open it again..
it just wont lock.
i tried to loosen the flat head thing but its tooo tight..should i loosen the 12mm bolt the unscrew it some??

ok I had the same problem, On the hood the pointy latch that goes into the base can be adjusted. there should be a cut in the middle of the point and take a screwdriver and turn the point back and forth to make it longer or shorter which ever way to make it shut.
the point also has a spring on it so you can locate it better.
see what happens

whatever you do, if you cant get it to where the spring locks into the hole, just secure the hood down with bungees or something , cause i had my hood fly up on me just a week ago, and it shattered my front window, going 80, and it was freaky, but it was my fault, cause i switched from my bungee cords, to some rubbery strap, which was too flexible to hold it, and the wind caught it, and SMACK!
but my problem is that the spring (top peice) is about 1/2" off from the hole on the bottom, but if your hole lines up with the spring thing, just play around with the bottom or top latch pieces, by loosening and moving around, and re-tightening them until it fits.
