wheels for a 95 accord wagon for autocrossing
Hey, this is actually my first post on Honda-tech. I usually post on my accordwagonclub.com forum, but no one is answering this question. I started to autocross my accord wagon because my CRX was stolen. I do pretty well with the wagon because of the H22. Anyways I want to get some light weight cheap wheels for autocross. Any inputs on wheels and where I can buy them.
I had my mind on some Rota slip stream. The accord is lowered on Eibach pro-kit w/ tokico illumina struts.
These are the options for the Rota Slip Streams in 15". What offset and width is recommended?
Any input would help. Thanks
15 x 6.5 4 x 114.3 +40
15 x 7 4 x 114.3 +35
15 x 7 4 x 114.3 +40
15 x 7.5 4 x 114.3 +48
15 x 7.5 4 x 114.3 +40
15 x 8 4 x 114.3 +40
thanks

+45 I think?
Weight is going to make more of a difference than .5" 205/50 is a pretty wire tire for that wheel regardless. Not to mention the ITR doesn't come in a 7"............
*edit* Your wheel is currently around 18 lbs per wheel. Knock off 7 lbs of rotating mass on all four corners = much better

I realize this, Integra Type R oem wheels, easily had between 300-400 dollars and bolt right on. If it's a track car why spend money on new wheels?
Just because, I might drive home on them. And would like to keep a discreet look.
White wheels on a burgundy car will really stand out.

And you don't think a lowered Accord on slipstreams (everyone's super fav wheel ever!!!!!!!!) won't? The Accord is 4x114, only Preludes, Accords, and CL's use it. I don't exactly forsee it getting stolen. If you're that worried run wheel locks on it. I had $1400 wheels on my Accord and parked it on the street for almost a year.
Buy the cheaper wheel (ITR) and have them powdercoated or spray them silver
If you're concerned about it getting stolen then you have to compromise somewhere.

Yeah a guy in AZ is in the process of selling his to me right. Perfect condition!
$415 shipped.
Also don't you need at least a 3mm spacer for them to clear the calipers?
I think I am grabbing the 5mm, but nothing more so i don't need extended studs.
11lbs per wheel? Sounds good to me any day!!
Yeah, looks like he will have to test them out!
Not to jack thread, but when I get them in and the tires on it I will message you the pics of them on.
For the OP, for the EX's due to the increased braking system as opposed to the LX and DX trim, a wheel spacer is required. It must be 3mm or more, but anything more than 5mm requires an extended stud. Now for the wagon, I guess you will have to mount the wheels up and see if it clears or not. You can grab some cheap eBay spacers for like 20 or 30 bucks for all the wheels. Not too bad.

Well if I run spacers there is a probablity that I will also need longer studs.
From what I know the brakes on the accord wagon is the same as the Integra Type R. Whenever I buy pads for the accord, they are always a different price then the sedan.
I personally want to just throw some wheels on there. Not have issues.
