Default Limp mode + vtec controller

hey guys i was womdering if you have a simple vtec controller will it still engage vtec even thought your computer is on limp mode(witch vtec isnt supposed to engage??

VTEC will work depending on the code. If it's an O2 sensor code, it will work. If it's a speed sensor or oil pressure code, it will not.
