obd1 gsr harness
4 wires to the ecu from the dead end plug
4 wires to the injectors from the dead end plug.
i have a #2 injector flooding. after several remedies
i stripped the harness and to the right of the picture. 1 of the wires is not connected..its random...its cut...
the wierd thing is, where does it connect to?aftr stripping the harness. there is nothing to connect it to..ghost wire?

I'm not a scum bag, but I'll try to help if I can. Those Yellow/Black wires are connected to a few other things other than the injectors. It's connected to the IACV, the main relay, ECU pins A25 & B1, and the O2 sensor. I'd recommend "finding" a service manual and searching around the Fuel/Emissions section (there's a wiring diagram in one of the first dozen or so pages of it) and the Electrical section for a better look at connector locations.

 

if this was your problem would you just get another harness?

 

Honestly I'd probably spend about 10-15 minutes searching around the engine bay, get frustrated if I didn't find anything, then give up and get a new one.

 

yeah the harness is out and stripped, found 1 wire that was cut and didnt go anywhere, nothing that connected either. it was cut in the harness all stock taped and loomed. very weird not sure even how it ran before but im at that point now to just buy another....from Chasebays
