Got some new wheels, couldn't stand the ugly stock wheels anymore. Was going to get them powdercoated since they needed some freshening but decided against it because of time/money. Ended up stripping them down and hitting them up with Scotchbrite. Still trying to get the finish where I want it but couldn't wait to get them on the car.

I would take them to a metal polisher to even out the finish (without polishing them), then hit them with some clear; they look good.

I was so close to getting another set of RPF1's before I picked these wheels up, was gonna go 17x9 +45 all around this time though. Loving the turbo, perfect size for the street. Gets full boost around 4500. Haven't dyno'd the car yet but on junk Fuzion 245/45/16's it went 12.36 @ 118. Definatly happy with that




I honestly only spent like a half hour Friday night on them after I finally got the paint off. As you can see in the one close up there's still some corrosion to be dealt with. Was too busy this weekend to finish up though. They'll be tip top before IA





I'm wanting to but not really wanting to leave at the butt crack of dawn lol. I think our check in is like 4 or 5 or something.
