Okay I've searched, but I can't find a definite answer to this question.

Will 90/91 CRX Side moldings (the ones that are slimmer) fit well on an 89 CRX (with stock 89 CRX doors and everything) ?

Someone just brought it to my attention in my build thread that I have 89 CRX moldings, which won't match up with my JDM front end and 91 rear bumper.

So I was wondering, if I was able to source out some 90/91 side moldings, would they fit perfectly on a 89 CRX without my need to buy a 90/91 CRX door or anything.

well the 90-91 doors don't fit on a 88-89 crx i believe, this is just from what i've read up on it, there was another thread similar to this question, but it had to do with doors,

 

Yeah, robdog just called me and answered my question. He basically said that the side moldings from a 90/91 CRX will fit an 88/89 CRX. So that's all I needed to know =D

 

there are clips that hold the moldings to the body of the car, so they should clip on with no problem. Try it bro, thats the best way to learn something.
