Default Turbo S2000 01 kenne bell boost-a-spark

I would like to know what my spark plug gap should be with using the boost-a-spark. I will have it installed wed. My gap is .028 . I've been running 12-14 of boost.

Synapse Synchronic BOV Blow Off Valve
RC Fuel Injectors 650cc
T3/T4 TURBO CHARGER T04E 0.50 A/R
Walbro Fuel Pump 255 LPH

Probably a bit larger, as they claim up to 50% more voltage and 10x more power overall.

However, a bigger gap doesn't help much with power. That product was designed to help ignition systems that cannot fire the plugs through a dense mixture. If your ignition was breaking up terribly at .028", it may help, otherwise it probably won't do much at all.

My car had bad ignition breakup at over 20 psi.... it was due to the EMANAGE that I used to run. I hooked my car up to a spark voltage tester (MAC TOOLS oscilloscope) while it was on emanage, it had super weak spark. I tested it vs. a bone stock d16, I was amazed the difference in spark voltage output. I tried different coils, ignitors, wires, swapped the dizzy, nothing would make it spark like a stock setup. The day I took the Emanage off, I tested it again with near stock voltage results. The Emange intecepts the coil signal to allow the timing maps to be altered, but by doing so it weakens the signal.

The boost-a-spark may work for your needs, but if you are having problems the root cause is the Emanage.

I don't think any one has really noticed the emanage spark issue before, because not many try to make big power with this system, but I had spark problems for years, and just now realizing what was the cause.
