Default Cam selection for my GSR

I'm looking for a good set of cams for my daily driven '95 GSR. Right now I have a short ram intake, a crappy DC Sports 4-2-1 header, and 2.25" exhaust, and I'm tuned on eCtune, other than that, I'm stock. I put down 177whp and 128wtq on a Land & Sea dyno that was SAE Corrected.

I want to look for a set of cams that will make good power over a set of CTR cams, but safely rev out on ITR valve springs and retainers.

I'm hearing Crower, Skunk2, Toda, etc. I want real-life opinons from you guys, not people telling me stuff they have never used. What has worked for you, what hasn't worked, what kind of gains did you get, etc..

Thanks.

To do this it is a short list.
Spoon Sports
Buddy Club 3+
Toda A2 (maybe need to double check)
Skunk2 Stage 1

In some cases ITR/CTR cams actually out performed these cams. I don't have any of these dynos but this was posted many years ago.

I hope this gives you some ideas.

stick with the ITR then you dont have to change any internals, if want something else look into the Blox Type As dont have to change internals either

I would go with the ctr/itr cams, they are a bit cheaper, and have almost the same performance as the stage one cams.

What I did when my GSR was pretty much stock. Just used a CTR intake cam since the gsr exhaust cam is very similar to the gsr exhaust cam. Don't expect a huge power gain though. If you go with more aggressive cams, I definitely recommend upgrading your valve train then. Can't go wrong with OEM parts

ctr or itr is a pretty safe way to go and will still get good, if not the same power as some stage 1's can put down.
plus the prices are a little cheaper then stage 1's as well as you can use stock cam gears on oem parts

ctr cam is more aggresive. Use itr valve train or dont rev past stock red line. If you dont have high comp or port work you can waste money by buying a cam to big. It will actually make the car slower.
