any suggestion's??????
i have a 90 civic SI hatchback with a ZC and ZC tranny, when doing the swap i was told to use 90-93 integra non-ABS axles, so i did, i bought brand new axles on core exchange from PEPBOYS (god i hate that store) and about 2 months after the swap was complete my driver side axle broke ( the joints and bearing inside fell apart, i dont know how but they did ) i went back to PEPBOYS bought a new axle and put it in, i put it in on 7/31, and last night (about 3 weeks after putting the new axle in) the joint and axle bar come right out of the cap while making a U-turn.........so does anyone know what might be wrong................
my plans are as of now to go to pepboys tomorrow and demand a new axle for free and try again.

ZC puts down A LOT of TORQUE.. you have to get some Moore performance drivetrain parts!
probably they had some defects when rebuild...... go and take them back.. they should be lifetime waranty.....

I am not sure if this will help or not, but what the hell. I can't remember the website, and I have way too many links to figure it out...

DOHC ZC swap. Simply put, the best bang for the buck! Bolts in just like the original motor, use original tranny, uses SI or HF wiring with only
change to wire the exhaust cam sensor (Extend 2 blue wires from Distributor plug to that sensor, colors match), very good acceleration and torque
over any stock SOHC motor. Use existing AC bracket to keep AC. Get a 90 Integra upper radiator hose and some screw clamps and you are set.
Remember to shim the left motor mount for hood clearance, a few washers on each bolt there works just fine. Also use the 88-89 Integra ECU,
huge difference over the SI ECU. DX cars must be wired for MPFI, but that’s not that bad if you know what you are doing. The true ZC tranny
requires an intermediate shaft and 90-93 Integra axles. Remember to remove the dust covers from the stock spindles so the axles will turn!

The part about the dust covers could be interesting to you; maybe give HASport a call?
good luck
