Icon6 B16A2 question

I have a 99 Civic Ex and i bought a B16A2 engine. i was wondering if i could use my ex computer which is a p2p. Or wut can anyone suggest me to do.

If I was you I would just get the P2E ecu.. I believe that's the Si computer... You can run a b16 on a single cam ecu, BUT it runs like total crap, it would be alot better to just get the right ecu.. or you could get an Obd2b - Obd1 conversion harness and put a chipped p28, chipped p72, or get the p30 which is the obd1 ecu for a b16.. they come in the Del Sol VTEC (b16 model)... their are a few other ecu's that you could use for it as well that are obd1... That's what I would do.. but if you aren't looking to go that route just get the Si computer and it should be fine.. :D

you shouldn't... I'm not too familiar with the obd2 things, so hopefully someone that works on obd2's more can help.. i'm mostly working on obd1 vehicle's... but If i'm not mistaking I don't think it will have a problem..

B16A2(OBD2B) Runs on a P2T ECU.

P2E is a 96-98 Civic DX ECU
