Default 98 Accord f23a1 shuts off out of nowhere

i have a 98 accord with an f23a1 completely stock. just did a full tune up and oil change thinking the tune up would correct my problem judging the condition the wires, rotor, and plugs. so i did it this afternoon and kept the car on for like 2 hours seeing if it would turn off and it didnt until i got on my street and it shut off. what could be the problem??? there is no shaking or any warning that it is going to shut off. i just feel the wheel get tight and i know the car turned off. WTF

This happened to my 1992 Accord. It was the distributor impulse sensor. New dizzy, no problems.

Right, it's not something you want to do lightly. My new distributor was $125. Anyway, what occurred was classic impulse sensor failure: CEL, followed by a very smooth stall. Restarts immediately, runs perfect.

Now, it was on a 1992 model with an impulse sensor. I have heard later models have a different design. Maybe you have a separate crank sensor?
