sorry i know this has been covered to many times. i tried to search but found nothing, my buddy has a eg hatch with an apexi n1 exhaust on it. will it fit on my 97 hatch? (bolt up and hangers line up). i know the y7 came with a messed up manifold/cat but this car had it replaced with a cheapy header/high flow cat. thanks, Tom

nobody feels like answering this??? somebody has to know or maybe even tried it, i'm mostly wondering if the mid pipe and axle pipe are the same lengths and have the hangers in the same spots thanks.

 

While I can't be sure since I own an EG only, I think EG exhausts are shorter than EK

I have an eg greddy sp2 exhaust on my 97 hatch, in the middle of the exhaust by the shift linkage the eg has two hangers one on each side the ek has one. cut off the one you don't need, I used a dremel. the exhaust itself is maybe an inch or two shorter but got mine to sit just right after messin with the rubber hangers a bit.

 

I'm running an EG exhaust on my 99. It was barely short and the thing about the hangars is true. I made a little extension for mine.
