I know my first car you guys will hate this it was a 97 Jetta that I beat up doing crazy stuff all my friends still talk about my driving when I had it just be careful.

Redline drops, jamming gears, burnouts, racing, drifting, its all fun but all have consequences. I almost had to do jail time for reckless driving so just think before you do

I bet he doesn't. As i was down a similar road myself, while i didn't have jail time to worry about. I had to sell the car to pay for tickets and help off set higher insurance.

Make a plan: show car/road race/drag race??? Your motor has alot of miles for boost. take your time and don't destroy it, please!!

Yeah my lawyer fees were expensive but I had parents that helped pay and than I got my Teg and I take great care how I drive but still have fun. And personally to have a show car you have to have another car or some way to raise it up so you don't rip lips and scrap every were

I hope you didn't buy this car in the RAIN. That's the number one rule. Rain hides scratches, faded paint and small dents.

Nice choice though. I used to own one. I have a soft spot for DA's.

Nice first car. You should ditch the tan interior and convert to black.

I agree. You should swap out the tan interior for some clean black interior. After that, look to drop it on some good suspension and then find a nice set of wheels. Most importantly, because of its age and mileage, check/fix any problems it has.
