Default toda b's

i got a set of toda b's and was running them on crower dual springs with retainers. for maybe 2 months and i ended up cracking my block my port n polish gsr head is gone.

i was wondering if the toda's are to big for the crower valve springs cause i had 3 innner springs snap and all but 2 valves were either bent or broken. now it could of been like a chain reaction but i'll never know. and should i just spend the cash and get the dual valve
spring set up from toda for the toda cams?

The Toda Spec B is a pretty lofty cam.. What springs and retainers were you using? There's more than one..

i decided to run Toda springs and Toda retainers with my B's. valve lash is set to Toda specs and they're noisy as hell on cold start. so far, no problems at all in the past year. no abnormal wear and my rockers look great still.

you can't go wrong using matching springs for the camshaft (other than the cost).

Toda B's are not that big. You might want to have a professional diagnose the cause of the valve spring failure before you invest in a new motor-valve springs, etc.
