Tranny or Clutch Problems
I have a problem with my clutch or tranny? When my car is sitting on all four tires my clutch wont engage at all...
So i lifted my car to replace the clutch and i put the Jack on bottom motor mount with it raised and my car got into gear!?
So I put the car back down on all fours and car car wouldn't go back in to gear.. just sit there and rev?
Someone said it could be a tranny issue? or is it the clutch?

There is a chance.. the problems didn't start until I broke my motor mount and replaced it. the so called "mechanic" repaired my left front axle and by the time I drove home.. my car couldn't get into gear anymore.
Is your car going into all gear? If so it's not a tranny problem, if it is it's your clutch, but after re reading what you posted, I really think it's your clutch. On the ground it has to move the whole and can't because clutch is giving out and while not on the ground it only has to the wheels which much lighter than the whole car.
When the car is lifted it does into gear... and the wheels spin.. but on the ground it doesn't do anything... just high rev... if i gas it all the way to the floor the car "barely moves"

if your motor mount failed, it may have bent your shift linkage, and make it not go into gear at all, or miss gears, or just be weird going into gear.
I just lifted my car back up and noticed the tranny motor mount is not really supporting the engine.. Since i have the new clutch should i just swap that out and get a motor mount and go about it that way?
Hey my transmission is making a clicking sound when I turn the wheels. Does that mean that my transmission is screwed and I should get a new one or can I save it??? Somebody PM me plz.
if you're hearing a knocking/clicking noise while turning then its most likely not your transmission. it's probably your outer cv joint.
