Last night I totalled my mint 91 hatch. I blacked out from an asthma attack and rear ended a guy stopped in the middle of the road with NO working brakelights. There was no reason for him to be stopped where he was. Guess that's the end of my civic for a while till I can save enough for the green Si. I didn't get a ticket but somehow this is all my fault said from the cops even though his rear lights didn't work. Very sad day.

Still have a Honda though, 150cc elite moped!

I just bought this car may 7th too. It had so much potential. I spent 6 hours detailin the thing yesterday too. Damn oh well. You can replace a car but not body parts.

Very true. I did forget to say that I snapped back to it when I was about 30ft from his bumper. Which was no where enough time to slow down. Either way everything happens for a reason and in the end it's just a car. I'll see if I can get pictures later

 

Glad to hear you are ok, and like others have said, cars are replaceable. I would be careful with your asthma, if you blackout while driving, they can take your license.

 

The reason I had an asthma attack was from sneezing so many times from my allergies and thats what started to close my lungs. I have a doc appointment tomorrow to get somehong to help out with the outbursts I have sometimes. First one I've had driving though.

 

No emergency inhaler? I've had a few gf's with asthma, I know it can get pretty bad sometimes. Good luck with the doc tomorrow!

But on a side note I found a white 89 si all stock for 1700obo about 2 hours or so from y house. Going to go take a trip on my moped tomorrow and take a look at it. 89s are the ones with the seatbelts on the pillar correct? I only want a stock hatch driven by an elderly person so I know it hasn't been raged lol

 

I have one and used it but it didn't work so I kept driving to re safest spot to pull over and catch my breath. I didn't think I was going to pass out.

Everything happens for a reason, no matter how bad or little. There is ALWAYS a reason behind it. This could be my calling to owning a teal Si, which I've always wanted and thankfully I still have my life. Which is the thing I'm most grateful for.

Pictures will be up as soon as possible. But to give you some sort of hit how hard I hit the gentleman, my oil cap broke with the threads still inside the head and the cap is sitting on my battery and both rear hub-caps came off......
